Sydney FC beat Melbourne Victory 3-0

Sydney FC beat Melbourne Victory 3-0 a in their A-League clash at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne tonight before a crowd of 30,668.

Three first-half goals in 5 minutes destroyed Melbourne.

Alex Brosque put the visitors in front with a header in the 14th minute.

Two goals by Mark Bridge - in the 16th and 19th minutes - completed the destruction.

Victory fought back in the second half and had a few half-chances, but the horse had bolted by that stage.

The win put Sydney FC 4 points clear of second-placed Melbourne at the top of the ladder, with Gold Coast United five points adrift in third place.
