The four Tasmanian players in Victoria's top-flight competition were all in action last weekend.
Billy Gasparinatos and James Sherman locked horns in the Oakleigh Cannons versus Melbourne Knights match, which Knights won 1-0 away at Jack Edwards Reserve, last Friday night.
Gasparinatos came on as a substitute for Oakleigh's star striker Billy Karpeh a minute before half-time, while Sherman played the whole match for the Knights.
Gasparinatos almost scored with his first touch, bringing a fine save from the Knights keeper.
Daniel White and Mathew Sanders both played the whole match for Green Gully Cavaliers in the 0-0 draw with Dandenong Thunder at home at Green Gully Reserve.
Green Gully are equal leaders of the Victorian Premier League, while Melbourne Knights are fourth and Oakleigh Cannons seventh.

Walter, i believ that should be James not Tom.
Tom is busy playing for the Glenorchy version!!
but in saying that, its great to hear news from 'abroad'.
any news on Goran, Igor or Sanita??
Ginger, my apologies. Had a senior's moment! I've fixed it now. Thanks for alerting me.
Goran is still with St Albans and I haven't heard anything about Igor or Sanita.
Sanita is with springvale, not sure on Igor. I have also seen Jones at Brunswick City, and O'Brien at Keilor.
possibly wouldnt have thought we could call danny white a Tasmanian??? Same with Igor.
its a bit of a shame about sanita doing so well here in tas winning the vic tuting and now playing in the 3rd division in victoria shows the difference in the standard
In regards to Sanita, he went over and did as well as he could, but unfortunately as a striker down here was first rate, over there, probably a bit too short and not quite quick enough to make that space or hold off players. He trained with us last year pre-season and he was well and truly a few steps above anyone that we have in speed and technical ability. This year he has decided that he does not want to scrap and fight to get a game at right full back and now wants a kick with an apprenticeship thrown in (plumbing)so he is a lot happier as it gives him a trade which is what he wanted. Good on him, there are other things!
